I am a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) based in Ontario, Canada, with a deep-seated commitment to upholding the highest standards of occupational health and safety. My professional ethos dictates that the protection and promotion of the safety and health of people, property, and the environment take precedence above all other considerations.

In my capacity as a CRSP, I serve as a crucial technical resource and subject matter expert for organizations. My primary objective is to advance and mature the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system. This involves:

• Regulatory Compliance: Guiding the company toward full compliance with applicable acts and regulations, particularly the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and its regulations in Ontario, as well as relevant municipal codes and bylaws.
• Legal Responsibility: Educating management on their legal duties and the critical concept of "due diligence" - taking every reasonable precaution for the protection of employees and the environment.
• Jurisdictional Knowledge: Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of federal and other provincial regulatory frameworks to provide holistic advice, even while specializing in Ontario legislation.

My professional capabilities are underpinned by a diverse and rigorous academic background:

• MSc, Conservation Biology (Equivalent to Environmental Science), United Kingdom.
• BSc, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Bangladesh.

 

I have further enhanced my specialization through extensive coursework in occupational health and safety across Canada and the United States. In keeping with my commitment to personal growth, I also have a Certificate Program in Occupational Health and Safety at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).

I am a Canadian Citizen who immigrated in 2003. Beyond my core HSE responsibilities, I maintain a strong interest in technology and analytical research, including:
